Who is Eligible?
Who may apply for travel reimbursement to professional growth activities?
Governing Board approved permanent full-time and part-time residential faculty members of the Maricopa Community Colleges at the time of the activity may apply for travel funds.. Residential Faculty are eligible to apply for travel funds. Travel funds are not available to members during a Sabbatical or during a Professional Unpaid Leave of Absence.
Who is not eligible for travel reimbursement?
Adjunct faculty; one-year-only faculty (OYO); one-semester-only faculty (OSO), retired faculty, specially funded faculty, and/or temporary placement faculty are not eligible for reimbursement funds.
I am a permanent part-time residential faculty. What amount of travel funding may I receive?
You are eligible for funding on a prorated basis depending on your employment status (50%, 75%).
I'm on sabbatical. Can I get travel funding for conferences or workshops?
Yes, you are eligible to receive travel funding for approved sabbatical activities.
