Campus Funding
Who decides the options for disbursing unexpended funds?
The campus Travel Committee has the option of setting limits for disbursement of unexpended funds.
Who decides how much travel funding each campus receives?
A District formula is used to allocate travel dollars to each college based on the full-time residential faculty equivalents (FTTE). Funds are available on a fiscal year basis from July 1 to June 30.
The individual college FTTE is divided by the district wide FTTE. The resulting number equals a college's percentage of the district wide FTTE. This percentage is then multiplied by the district travel allotment to produce each college's allotment. The Senior Budget Analyst at District figures each campus's allocation based on the formula.
