In college, most courses involve reading and studying; therefore, it is critical for students to know and apply appropriate skills that will enhance academic progress and success. The Reading Department offers a wide variety of reading/study-based courses at different levels, including Reading ESL, Developmental Reading, Critical and Evaluative Reading and College Study Skills. These courses have been designed to develop and improve students' skills so that they can attain personal and academic goals. Our faculty are committed to helping each student be successful in his/her goals at Phoenix College.
