Mission Statement

The Liberal Arts Department provides comprehensive, quality education across the various social and behavioral sciences as well as the classical humanistic disciplines of history and philosophy. We offer courses ranging from history, economics, education, philosophy, political science, and religious studies to the more recently established American Indian, Chicana/o, and Southwestern Studies.
