17th Annual Great Books at Great Prices Sale
Tuesday, November 10
Sophomore Square
8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Almost 17 years ago Padriac Meriadoc Hill, an outstanding young man in the Classical Studies and Honors Programs at Phoenix College, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery at his job at a movie theater. Padriac would have graduated from Phoenix College in May of 1993. The crime was so senseless, and yet those closes to Padriac responded with compassion and hope. His parents and fellow students established a scholarship fund in his memory to help students, like Padriac, buy books and pay for tuition.
The Honors students are pleased to continue this fundraising tradition and invite you to the 17th annual Padriac Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund Book Sale. If you'd like to contribute to the sale, we are currently accepting donations of books. Checks are always appreciated adn can be made payable to the Padriac Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds help worthy students pay for books and supplies.
Call the Phoenix College Honors Program at (602) 285-7305 for directions to drop off your contribution or to make arrangements for a student to pick up your donation.
