The Office of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development supports the core missions of Phoenix College—teaching, learning, student success, career education and training. Our 85-year legacy of educating the future leaders of Phoenix and Arizona remains as vibrant as ever today through our 26 instructional departments. Some 26,000 students studying in over 200 programs are taught expertly each year by our 220 full-time faculty and 476 adjunct faculty.

• Custom Training and Education (CTE)—Facilitates partnerships between instructional departments and community businesses and organizations while tailoring training programs to meet their individual needs.

• Learning Technologies and Development—Provides technology training for faculty and staff, and oversees the WebCT online courses.
• The Grants Office—Works with faculty in applying for major grants funding for new teaching initiatives.
• The Success Center—Uses state-of-the-art technology combined with a personal touch to assist students in strengthening their skills in many areas of learning.
• Media Services—Provides multimedia tools in classrooms and meeting spaces across the college, while also producing professional video projects and staging major campus and district events.
