Evening and Saturday Administrator Responsibilities

Hours of Responsibility
The Evening Administrator is required to be on campus from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. On Saturday the Evening Administrator is required to be on campus from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Central Cell Phone:
The Evening Administrator will pick up the cell phone from College Safety by 5:00 p.m. and may work from their office if they choose to. The Welcome Center and A&R Department will have the cell phone number available for contacting the Evening Administrator. The cell phone must be returned to College Safety before leaving campus. The phone number is (602) 350-2644.

Check-Out Procedure
The Evening Administrator shall return the cell phone and check out at the College Safety Office.

Responsibilities of the Evening Administrator
The Evening Administrator is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the campus. They will attempt to handle any administrative issues as efficiently as possible and will provide information to the parties involved as to who they may contact on the next business day. The information will be forwarded to the appropriate Vice President who will be responsible for resolving the issues on the next business day. In the case of an emergency, Campus Safety will be notified and the appropriate personnel will be advised depending on the nature and the severity of the emergency. Academic related issues should be resolved as necessary and the information should be forwarded to the appropriate responsible person through appropriate methods for the situation.

Emergency Procedures

Life Threatening Emergencies
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, Campus Safety shall be notified immediately, in addition to calling 911. Campus Safety can respond more efficiently to an emergency than off-campus responders and can assist in directing the off-campus responders to the proper location. Campus Safety must be notified as early as possible.

Non-Life Threatening Emergencies
In the event of a non-life threatening emergency, Campus Safety shall be notified. Campus Safety will determine who should be notified based upon the nature and urgency of the situation.

Emergency Notification List
The Campus Safety Department shall maintain an emergency notification list consisting of names, titles, and contact numbers of PC Administrators who should be notified in the case of an emergency. The Evening Administrator and the campus safety officers on duty will determine the most appropriate person to be notified and the method of notification based upon the type and urgency of the emergency.
