ALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET

  1. Your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has been processed by the federal processor and you have a complete file at PC.

    STOP - IF YOU DID NOT CHECK BOX 1 - YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS GRANT
     
  2. You are NOT receiving federal financial aid (Federal aid includes Pell grants, Federal SEOG, LEAP, FWS, Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized Stafford loans)

    STOP - IF YOU DID NOT CHECK BOX 2 - YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS GRANT
     
  3. You are a United States citizen or have legal U.S. Residency status
  4. You have in-state residency classification and have been charged in-state tuition and fees
  5. You are enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits
  6. You have Financial need; this will be determined by the Financial Aid Office based on your completed and processed FAFSA

Payment for your classes may be delayed for up to 45 business days after receipt of this application, to allow for processing time. You will owe 100% of all charges for the semester if denied.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Students awarded a Maricopa Grant in a prior term must have successfully completed at least 67% of all enrolled credits and achieved at least a 2.00 GPA for that term for consideration of a grant in future terms.
  • If awarded federal financial aid after receipt of this grant, the grant will be cancelled, possibly creating a debt for the student.
     
Student Status  Award Amount
 Full-time: (12 or more credit hours)  $1,370
 3/4 time: (9-11 credit hours)  $1,030
 1/2 time: (6-8 credit hours)  $700
 Less than 1/2 time: (3-5 credit hours)  $360

AFTER ENROLLMENT IN CLASSES

  • Please complete and return the PC Maricopa Grant application to the Financial Aid Office located in Hannelly Center.
