At Phoenix College, you have access to a world of resources that help make your college experience successful and enjoyable, as well as expand your skills while you study for a degree. Student Affairs departments include:
- Admissions and Records—Acts as the gateway to Phoenix College by processing student information forms for admission, as well as assisting students in registering for classes, paying tuition, and obtaining records. The AR building also houses Veterans Services and the Information Desk.
- International Student Center—Provides services to students from diverse countries, cultures and languages.
- Advisement Center—A central advising, referral and information place to assist students in developing a course of study.
- Learning Center/Special Services—Offers free support services to help students develop academic skills essential to successful learning.
- Athletics—Offers coaching and facilities for a wide range of intercollegiate sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, football, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball.
- Recruitment & Retention—Guides students through the enrollment process by answering questions, providing information on educational programs, campus services and resources, and conducting campus tours.
- Re-Entry Center—Provides academic advisement, support and networking for new and continuing students who are returning to education.
- Campus Safety—Includes on-campus security, parking decals, and lost and found.
- Counseling—Offers unique instruction and individual counseling to meet the diverse academic, career and personal development needs of students.
- Student Life & Leadership—Serves the needs of students in leadership development, campus and community involvement, and group interaction. Promotes contact between the students, faculty and employees through clubs, cultural events and other special events.
- Office of Financial Aid—Assists students in obtaining resources to help pay education costs, such as tuition/fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation and other education-related expenses for the student.
