Welcome to the Disability Resource Center
Because Phoenix College believes academically qualified individuals with disabilities should have equal opportunity and access to a quality education, we have been actively involved in fostering an environment that encourages full participation by students with disabilities in every segment of the College. The Disability Resource Center (DRC) was established to help ensure an accessible and positive college experience for students with disabilities. Our Office provides a variety of services and accommodations to meet the needs of disability related concerns in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
Mission:
The mission of the Disability Resource Center is to create a vital learning environment that provides the resources, services and auxiliary aids necessary to allow each qualified student with a disability to pursue academic, occupational, developmental and personal enrichment goals in the most fair and independent manner possible. The DRC coordinates services which will ensure students with disabilities equal access to college programs and facilities.
