The Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program provides education and training for employment in hospitals and some outpatient settings. Skills taught include phlebotomy, glucose monitoring, and other testing, electrocardiogram, urinary catheterization and various sterile dressings.  A certificate is awarded for successful program completion. The applicant must have a current/valid Nursing Assistant Certificate from the state of Arizona to apply for the program.

(includes tuition, books, lab and externship fees)

Program completion - 16 weeks: Attend classes all day Mondays & Tuesdays for 6 weeks. Program includes two externships.

    • Phlebotomy externship in outpatient lab.
    • Patient Care Technician: will work with you to spend 64 hours at a local hospital.
