Therapeutic Massage
About the Program

Our mission is to collaboratively create, foster and guide the evolution of the Complementary Health Care Program within the Maricopa Community Colleges through service to our community, and compassion for the physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness of our students and faculty.

The Therapeutic Massage Program is the first massage program being offered at an Arizona community college. Phoenix College provides a credible, affordable and quality program.

Completion of our Therapeutic Massage Program is designed to provide the student with the essential skills to become a bodywork practitioner. The curriculum focuses on integration of the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our students. Students will complete prerequisites (15 credits) prior to admission into the Core program. Upon completion of all course work, students apply for a Certificate of Completion and/or an AAS degree in Therapeutic Massage from Phoenix College. With over 50 programs, the Therapeutic Massage Program is yet another example of the Maricopa Community College District's vision of striving to exceed the changing expectations of our many communities.
