Students wishing to enroll in any Health Care Program should see a Health Care Advisor in the Advisement Center prior to enrolling in any HCC (Health Care Core) course. The HCC classes are prerequisites to the following programs: Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, EKG/Telemetry, Health Information Technology, Medical Billing, Nursing, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy, Therapeutic Massage and Laboratory Assisting and Histology Technician.
Many of the following HCC courses are available on the internet. Information on how to access all courses on the internet is found in the catalog or how to access material.
In addition, self-help information packets are available for students to pickup in the Information Center located in the Admissions and Records Bldg., Open Computer Lab, in the Fannin Library, the Advisement Center and through the Phoenix College Website at www.pc.maricopa.edu.
