Flexibility

Goal: Learners will demonstrate the application of the F.I.T.T. principle for flexibility exercise using personal information supplied by the learner.

Objectives:

  1. Students will view instruction on applying frequency, intensity, time, and type to both their flexibility program.
  2. Students will view instruction on the difference between ballistic, static, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation stretching.
  3. Students will be asked to select muscle groups to include in their flexibility program.

Procedures

  1. When the student selects the “Flexibility” link on the web site, the instruction will proceed. Students will be directed through each step.
  2. Students are encouraged to take notes.
