Flexibility
Goal: Learners will demonstrate the application of the F.I.T.T. principle for flexibility exercise using personal information supplied by the learner.
Objectives:
- Students will view instruction on applying frequency, intensity, time, and type to both their flexibility program.
- Students will view instruction on the difference between ballistic, static, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation stretching.
- Students will be asked to select muscle groups to include in their flexibility program.
Procedures
- When the student selects the “Flexibility” link on the web site, the instruction will proceed. Students will be directed through each step.
- Students are encouraged to take notes.
