Cardiovascular Endurance
Goal: Learners will demonstrate the application of the F.I.T.T. principle for cardio-exercise using personal information supplied by the learner.
Objective:
- Students will view instruction on applying frequency, intensity, time, and type to their cardiovascular program.
- Students will be asked to calculate their own Predicted Maximum Heart Rate (PMHR) and will be provided feedback on the success of those calculations.
- Students will be asked to select an intensity level (Beginner, Average, Advanced) based on selection criteria provided.
- Students will be asked to count and calculate their own Resting Heart Rate (RHR) and will be provided feedback on the success of those calculations.
- Students will be asked to select types of cardiovascular exercise that they prefer.
Procedures:
- When the student selects the “Cardiovascular Endurance” link on the web site, the instruction will proceed. Students will be directed through each step.
