This is the online version of the face-to-face Blackboard training sessions. It contains Levels 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 is required for resource courses, while all levels are required for hybrid and online courses. This session includes the "techie" part of using Blackboard as well as some hints on effectively using it in instruction.
After you register, you will receive a follow-up email with login instructions within 1-2 business days.
Level 1 - Learn the basics on how to set up a course in Blackboard. In this workshop you will learn how to use announcements, setup faculty information, backup a course, copy a course, setting availability, managing users, load a syllabus, upload and organize content, add links to the course, use email, and how to use internal messaging.
Level 2 - Learn more advanced skills in how to setup a course in Blackboard. In this workshop, you will learn how to enhance learning using discussion boards, collaboration tools, group tools, set adaptive releases, and how to use the grade book.
Level 3 - Learn more advanced skills in how to setup a course in Blackboard. In this workshop, you will learn how to enhance learning using the assignment, quiz and survey tools.
