WebCT Testing Policies - Student

The WebCT Testing Center, located in the Encanto Room of the Computer Commons, administers tests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Simply come to WebCT Testing Center with a current photo id. For further information, check the policies, contact the Computer Commons at 602-285-7428 or email the WebCT Hotline.

Be aware that the heaviest time for taking a test is during the first hour, so adjust your schedule accordingly. For those who cannot take a test during the times listed above, contact your instructor. Once you have started a test, you will not be allowed to leave the testing room for any reason. If you decide to leave the Testing Center, you will be logged out of WebCT and you will not be allowed to continue testing. The instructor will be notified.

We know that your test performance is very important to you!  For you to have a quiet and successful testing experience, you have certain responsibilities.  As a student taking a test, you:

Bring ONLY yourself, a valid photo id, and authorized materials required for the test into the center. This means:

1) Keep food or drinks at the library entrance.
2) Turn off and give all electronic communication devices and all personal items (excluding materials required for testing) to the testing technician. A space will be designated for your items while you take your test.
3) Leave friends or family at home (they will be asked to wait outside).
4) Sit at the seat you are assigned to by the testing technician.
5) Once you have started a test, you will not be allowed to leave the testing room for any reason. If you decide to leave the Testing Room, you will be logged out of WebCT and you will not be allowed to continue testing. The instructor will be notified.
6) Return all materials issued to you to the testing technician.
7) The technician will only assist you with any technical questions/difficulties you have during testing.
8) You must respect others taking tests by remaining quiet during your test.
