How to Access netLibrary Online Books from
Off-Campus

You will need a current Phoenix College ID card, free to all students and obtained from Student Life and Leadership Office located in the Hannelly Center. This ID card, once validated at the library’s Checkout/Reserve Desk, also serves as your Phoenix College Library card.

If you are a WebCT student and do not have a student ID card, please contact your instructor for the Phoenix College ID number.

1. Bring up the Library homepage: http://www.phoenixcollege.edu/library

2. Select the link "Magazine & Newspaper Databases"

3. Select the link "Alphabetical list of all databases" (below the second box).

4. Scroll down until you see "Netlibrary". Click on the link.

5. Enter your Phoenix College ID number; the 13-digit number found on the back of your ID card. Submit this information.

6. You are now on the netLibrary homepage, where you may create a new account if you are a first time user or log in if you are a registered user. On the left side of the screen, locate and follow the Create an Account link

7. The Create an Account screen asks you to register by entering your identifying information (user name, password, email address). Once this information is submitted, a screen will appear asking you to agree to netLibrary’s terms of use, choose Agree if you wish to continue.

8. After completing the registration, select the Search for a Specific E-book link. At this point, you may be prompted to log in again. Now you may start your search.

If you have trouble accessing the collection, please call the Reference Desk during library business hours at: 602-285-7470.
