Department of Dental Programs Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Dental Programs is to prepare quality health care professionals to meet the needs of a diverse community and population of students. We are dedicated to continually improving and maintaining quality programs which are responsive to an evolving health care industry.

We are pleased to provide excellent programs in both Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting.

Department of Dental Programs Goals

1. Promote the success of all dental assisting and dental hygiene students by providing support and resources for a vital learning atmosphere within their academic, clinical, campus and community environments
2. Develop community relationships and promote oral health by providing qualified professionals, educational programs and services to the public
3. Support and promote the personal and professional development of faculty and staff by promoting a culture of lifelong learning, teamwork, collaboration, unity and mutual respect among all members of the Department
4. Optimize College financial resources through Departmental fiscal responsibilty and resourcefulness
