NOTES: Mesa had a total of five hits, scoring once in the 3^rd on a passed ball and once in the 6^th on a throwing error. Mesa held Phoenix to just one run, which was scored by Delane Oscarson on a hit by Deanna Camacho. The Lady Bears left five runner on base. The loss by the Bears came despite a strong pitching performance by Chris McGee, who allowed just five hits and posted 12 strikeouts. This was the first loss of the year for the Bears to Mesa.
