PC Bows Out of Championship Hunt
After a victory in its opening game, the Phoenix College softball team fell 5-4 to Lansing and 3-1 to Parkland to end the Lady Bears title hopes.

Lady Bears Victorious in National Championship Tourney
Phoenix College's softball team, ranked #2 in the nation, scored a 12-0 second-round victory over St. Louis (Mo.) Community College at the 2003 NJCAA Division II National Championships. PC Softball Advances to Nationals
After falling 2-1 in game one of the NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament's championship round, the Lady Bears responded with 5-2 and 2-1 victories to advance to the NJCAA DII National Championship Tournament in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, May 15-17. Game 1 | Game 2 | Game 3

Lady Bears Move to Finals by Sweeping C-G

PC Closes Regular Season with Wins over Paradise Valley
Diana Mendez went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and three RBI in a 7-2 game one victory and Ramie Garcia hurled nine strikeouts in winning game two 4-1. Game 1 | Game 2

Lady Bears Score Pair of 2-0 Wins
Chris McGee (18-5) and Ramie Garcia (16-6) hurled 6-1 and 2-0 victories, respectively, as the Lady Bears topped Division I Arizona Western twice. . Game 1 | Game 2

Lady Bears Score Pair of 2-0 Wins
Phoenix College won a pair of 2-0 thrillers against Mesa. Chris McGee improved to 17-5 by winning game one with a little help from Deanna Camacho and Diana Mendez's RBI singles. Juliette Martinez had the game winning hit in the top of the 9th of game two and Ramie Garcia (15-6) earned the win with seven strikeouts. Game 1 | Game 2

PC Shuts Out Artichokes
The Lady Bears scored a pair of shutout wins - 7-0 and 6-0 - over Scottsdale. Deanna Camacho posted two hits and a pair of RBI in the opener, while Diana Mendez went 3-for-4 with a triple, homer and three RBI in game two. Game 1 | Game 2

Lady Bears Fall Twice in Heartbreakers
Central Arizona scored all of its runs in a 4-0 game one victory in the fourth inning, while both of Central's runs in gme two were unearned. Game 1 | Game 2

PC Splits with Eastern Arizona
Chris McGee picked up her team-best 15th victory in game one as the Bears shutout Eastern Arizona 5-0. PC fell 8-2 in the nightcap as Eastern tallied all eight runs in the first four innings. Game 1 | Game 2

Wheeler, Garcia Hurl Victories Over South Mountain
Alexis Wheeler allowed just three hits and struck out six in a 7-0 shutout victory in the opener, while Ramie Garcia gave up three hits and struck out four in game two's 10-1 win for the Lady Bears. Game 1 | Game 2

Lady Bears Sweep Glendale

PC Completes Sweep of Scottsdale
The Lady Bears completed a rained out doubleheader against Scottsdale with a 9-3 victory to sweep the pair of games at the Artichokes. Boxscore

PC Earns Pair of One-Run Victories Over Mesa
Chris McGee picked up win number seven as she allowed just three gits and no walks while striking out six in a 1-0 victory in the opener. In game two, Deanna Camacho broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning with a game-winning RBI single.

Bears, Rain Split Doubleheader
While the rain washed out game two, the PC Lady Bears washed out Scottsdale in game one. Chrissy Mensior and Denise Emmons each blasted homers and PC scored all of its rune in three innings in the 13-2 victory. Boxscore

PC Softball Opens with Exhibitions This Weekend
Softball opens their season this weekend with double-header exhibition games against the University of Arizona Wildcats and the Sun Devils of Arizona State University. Game times are Friday (1/24/2003) @ U of A at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm and Saturday (1/25/2003) @ ASU at Noon and 2:00 pm.

Mueller to be Honored for 500th Victory
