Runner originally came to Phoenix College after playing
a year at Scottsdale C.C. and was the leading points winner for
the team during the 2003 season. She is currently on the Coaching
Staff at Phoenix College.
Del Muro was the Bears' captain for the 2002 and 2003
seasons and is now a team captain at Colorado State University -
Pueblo.
Magnan was ranked 28th out of all junior college goalkeepers in
the nation in 2003. She is now playing at Northern Michigan University.
Hodge was a solid two-year starter for Phoenix College. She completed
her two-year career at PC in 2004 and will continue her collegiate
career at the University of Bridgeport this coming season.
"This is such a great accomplishment for Phoenix College Women's
Soccer," said PC Head Coach Morgan Lee. These young ladies
have worked so hard to continue to grow in their athletic career
and this is just one more step in that growth. The group of young
ladies that make up the Arizona State Select Team is just laced
with talent. In fact, our four players will be joining eight current
and former NCAA DI players on this trip. I know that I will never
be able to express to them how proud I am, but it makes me feel
so good that they still love and appreciate this game enough to
want to continue to play, grow, and have fun. Congratulations to
all four of you! What a wonderful accomplishment!"
