Coach Lee Introduces Gomez as New Bear Phoenix College Women's Soccer inks one more local student-athlete from Moon Valley High School. Angela Gomez signed a NJCAA National Letter of Intent on Tuesday (2/24/2004) to play soccer for the Bears in 2004. She was a 2003-2004 2nd Team All-Region selection in which Moon Valley High School Girls Soccer was the 1st Place team coming out of the Skyline Region. Angela will be looking to contribute to the Bears as a central back or midfielder, while wearing the # 21 jersey. "Angela is a good piece to our puzzle this year. She is a skilled player that has great distribution on the attack. In addition, she brings with her knowledge of several other players on the team that she has played with in the past. We are looking forward to having her bring her contagious positive attitude and good work ethic to our program." |
