The men's basketball team at Phoenix College held it annual awards banquet Tuesday night on the Phoenix College campus. Jason Malone received the honors as most imporved player for the 2004-2005 season. Jeff Baron received the Rob Babcock Coaches' Award for his excellence both in the classroom and on the court.

Major Willette and George Kirby both received the Dennis "Mo' Layton MVP award for their outstanding play this season. The banquet brought a close to a most successful 2004-2005 season and the Bears look forward to the season ahead.
