VOLLEYBALL FINALS

Salt Lake (41-1) defeated Arizona Western 3-1 (32-30, 24-30, 30-22, 30-23) to capture the NJCAA District A Division I Volleyball Championship. The title is the fourth straither for the #1 ranked Bruins and they advance to the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Council Bluffs, IA, November 15th -17th.

Luci Toazzi led Arizona Western (26-9) 16 kills, while Patty Paniagua and Ana Bauer added 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Cinthia Silva paced Salt Lake with 15kills.
