REGION I FINALS MVP:
QUOTING AWC HEAD COACH JASON SMITH:
| |
(about Region I Finals MVP Award):
"We were truly led by the Region I Finals MVP,
Fouga Wooley. Obviously, her leadership as a setter
was huge, but she came through big-time with blocking
and setting as well."
(about the Championship Game)
"We had a very consistent, focused effort tonight.
We've played better than this before, but tonight, we
just never lost sight of the fact that we were here
to win a match, and win it in 3. Lots of players showed
up in a lot of different areas. After stubbing our collective
toes a little bit early, we really came together as
a team."
