Robert Armstrong of Yavapai is the ACCAC Player
of the Week. Armstrong, a freshman from Aurora, Colorado,
recorded his tenth ACCAC shutout this season in leading the
Roughriders to a 4-0 win over Mesa, and ensure Yavapai the
number one seed in the Region 1 Playoffs.
WEEK # 8 - October 13-19, 2003:

Arizona Western
Arizona Western's Dax Crum
earned the ACCAC Player of the Week honor after leading
the Matadors to victories over Mesa and Scottsdale. The
Kirtland, New Mexico, native had two goals, includuing the
game-winner against Mesa and then added a pair of assists
against Scottsdale.
WEEK # 7 - October 6-12, 2003:
NEGUI SABBAGH
Mesa
For the second time during
this 2003 season, Mesa's Negui Sabbagh has earned
the ACCAC's men's soccer Player of the Week honor. Sabbagh
was instrumental in two Thunderbird victories during the
week. He scored a goal and had two assists in a 4-1 win
over Paradise Valley and then added two goals and two assists
in a 5-1 victory over South Mountain.
WEEK # 6 - September 29-October
5, 2003:
BERO RODAKOVIC
Glendale
Bero Rodakovic helped Glendale
to a pair of victories on the week to earn tthe ACCAC's
Player of the Week award. Rodakovic assisted on both goals
in a 2-1 Gauchos victory over Paradise Valley. He then scored
two goals and added another pair of assists in a 7-0 win
over South Mountain.
WEEK # 5 - September 22-28, 2003:
RICKY FETHERSTON
Mesa
Sophomore Ricky Fetherston
netted three goals and added two assists on the week to
be tabbed the ACCAC's Player of the Week. He posted a pair
of goals and an assists in the Thunderbirds 7-3 victory
over Glendale. Fetherston then added another goal and assist
in a 3-0 win over Pima.
WEEK # 4 - September 15-21, 2003:
BRANDON LESPRON
Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley's Brandon Lespron
has earned the ACCAC Player of the Week honor for the fourth
week of the 2003 season. The freshman from Cave Creek helped
the Pumas to a pair of victories on the week. Lespron netted
scored twice ina 3-2 victory over Arizona Western and posted
a game-winning assists in Paradise Valley's 1-0 shutout
of South Mountain.
WEEK # 3 - September 8-14, 2003:
BRIAN TALVY
Pima
Brian Talvy, a sophomore at
Pima College, led the Aztecs to three wins during the week
and took over the individual scoring lead in the ACCAC.
The Tuscon native scored once in a 3-1 victory over Scottsdale,
netted threee goals in a 4-1 victory over Arizona Western,
and then netted a pair of goals in a 4-0 win over Phoenix.
WEEK # 2 - September 1-7, 2003:
NEGUI SABBAGH
Mesa
Mesa Community College's Negui
Sabbagh helped the Thunderbirds to a pair of ACCAC victories
during the week. The sophomore netted the game winning goal
in overtime in a 2-1 victory over Scottsdale CC. Sabbagh,
from Scottsdale, assisted on teh game winner just 23 seconds
into play in Mesa's 4-0 victory over Paradise Valley.
WEEK # 1 - August 31, 2003:
JOEL BOTT
Keeper, Chandler-Gilbert
Joel Bott earned the first
ACCAC Player of the Week honor of the 2003 season by posting
a shutout in his first-ever collegiate game. The freshman
from Glendale, Arizona, helped Glendale Community College
get off to a great start to the year with a 2-0 victory
over Paradise Valley.
