The WSFL saw two of its student-athletes earn NJCAA
Football honors following the first week of play in the 2005 season.
Phoenix College's Azaad Muhammad earned the National Offensive Player

rushed for 231 yards on 24 carries, including one run for 54 yards.
He collected two touchdowns to lead the Bears to a 55-30 win.

to a 33-14 win over Hardin Simmons University. He collected five
solo tackles and had one tackle assist. Whitmill also completed
three sacks for a total of 25 yards.
