Sadiq, Ramsey Earn
First Team All-American Honors Central
Arizona's Rashidat Sadiq has been named tothe NJCAA Division
I All-American First Team, while Terri Ramsey earned Division
II All-American First Team honors. Shaquina Mosley, Sugiery
Monsac, and Sherlyn Hatch were also named to All-American

Scottsdale Places Second,
Central Arizona Third in NJCAA National Basketall Tournaments
Scottsdale
fought hard before falling 63-41 to NJCAA Division II National
Champion Monroe CC (NY). Scottsdale's Terri Ramsey and Aminah
Jones were selected to the All-Tournament Team. At the NJCAA
Division I National Tournament, Central Arizona defeated Arkansas-Fort
Smith 81-75 to capture third place in the nation.
Central Arizona Takes
D1 Region Crown, Scottsdale is D2 Region Champs
Central Arizona defeated Eastern Arizona
68-47 to capture the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Championships
and earn a spot in the 2004 NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
Scottsdale will play in the NJCAA Division 2 National tourney
after a 58-50 win over Mesa to capture the Region I Division

D2, Upset Knocks Out Top Seed in D1 Region 1 Playoffs
In the NJCAA Region 1 Division 1 Playoffs,
#4 seed Eastern Arizona scored a 44-41 upset victory over
#1 seed Arizona Western to advance to the title game to face
#2 seed Central Arizona. On the Division 2 side of the court,
top-seeded Scottsdale topped Glendale and #2 seed Mesa upended
Pima 57-55 to set up a title game of this season's top two
Region 1 Division 2 squads for the Championship. Complete

Top Player Awards, Cunningham Tabbed Top Coach
Central Arizona's Rashidat Sadiq has been
tabbed the ACCAC's 2004 Player of the Year, while her teammate
Shaquina Mosley earned Freshman of the Year honors. Arizona

Mosley earned her third consecutive ACCAC Player of the Week

garner NJCAA National Player of the Week honors when she took
the honor for the week ending January11. Chacon joins Arizona

as ACCAC players to take home the nation's top weekly women's

Bridget Chacon earned the ACCAC Player of the Week honor for
the week ending January 10th after posting a triple-double
against Southwestern and leading the Lady Aztecs to a pair
