Four Fall Teams Earn Academic All-American
Honors for Phoenix College

Phoenix College Director of Athletics Scott Geddis has announced that four Bears athletic programs earned Academic All-American status during the Fall of 2003.

The Volleyball squad not only earned Academic All-American Team honors, but were also selected the Academic Team of the Year by sporting the nation's highest grade point average of 3.65. The Women's Soccer team placed second nationally with a 3.26 GPA, while the Men's Cross Country program (3.25) and the Women's Cross Country squad (3.36) each placed fourth.

The entire Phoenic College campus community congratulates the student-athletes and coaches in these programs for their hard work both on and off the fields of play.
