Employee Development
PC Employee Development hosts and coordinates many programs to improve teaching and learning and to cultivates all employees' creativity to foster student success. This is accomplished by encouraging faculty and staff collaboration, and creating a culture that welcomes and celebrates diversity in knowledge and abilities, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs,and sexual orientation.
Employee Development entails the following programs:
- Day of Learning
- New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- New Faculty Academy (NFA)
- Phoenix College Positive Climate Campus Program (PC Cubed)
The faculty development team's mission and work is directly related to PC's college vision, mission, and strategic goals; college goals for 2007-2008; and instructional philosophy.
The committee firmly believes that learning should not only be worthwhile, but fun and conducive to fostering personal relationships.
