Training
End-users of the Content Management System (CMS) will receive training based upon their level of access to the content.
The two levels of training that will be provided are for department administrators and users.
Training topics include:
- Logging in
- Overview of the CMS
- Creating new pages and updating existing pages
- Adding “modules” to pages and modifying module content, including:
- adding slideshow images
- creating contact information for departments
- creating FAQs
- adding news and events
- adding department personnel information
- adding department courses (where applicable)
- creating additional webpage resources
- Deleting pages
- Previewing page content
- Publishing pages
Additionally, for department administrators training will include creating new users and assigning page permissions to the users.
Training for pre-identified site administrators is set to start on April 11.
