Hazards

Caution! May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin.

May cause allergic reaction.

Causes irritation to eyes and skin. May cause respiratory tract irritation.

Inhalation may cause irritation to the respiratory tract. If ingested, common side reactions include nausea, vomiting, acidosis, pruritis, rash, fever, methemoglobinemia, and possible hepatitis. Probable oral lethal dose (human) 0.5-5 g/kg, between 1oz. and 1 pt. (or 1 lb) for a 70 kg (150 lb.) person. (22)

Emergency Procedures

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention for any breathing difficulty.

If ingested, Induce vomiting immediately, and get medical attention.

In the event of skin contact, Remove any contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap or mild detergent and water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

If contact is made with eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower eyelids occationally. Get medical attention immediately. (22)
