1.  The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Region VIII Board of Governors has selected the Phoenix College Theatre Department's production of Harold Pinter’s “The Caretaker” as an entrant in this year’s regional competition to be held in UC-San Bernardino from Feb. 9-15.  To prepare for the competition, the department will present two encore performances on Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Theatre One (classroom T-101).

If the regional presentation is well-received in San Bernardino, it is possible that the production will be selected to go on to the national competition held at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in May of this year.  Congratulations and we wish you the best of luck in San Bernardino!
2.  Tom Adamson was recently elected to serve as the Treasurer of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC).
