This will be Coach Mueller's 15th season at the helm of the
Phoenix College Softball Program. 2004 team graduated 7 sophomores
who all transferred to four year Colleges.The 2005 squad has
6 returning sophomores and 13 very talented freshmen coming
in to play for the 2005 season.
In 2004 Phoenix College Softball Team was ranked number one
in the nation in the preseason and finished number one in the
NJCAA National Softball Championships.The team also finished
7th in the nation All
Academic Team with a 3.35 GPA.Coach Mueller's teams have an
overall record of 588 wins and 291 loses and Three National
Championships in the last five years.
He laid the groundwork to establish the program in hie first
five years and it is now considered by many to be one of the
finest programs in the nation.He has had 16 NJCAA All Americans
and 38 NFCA All Americans with over 70 players receiving four
year scholarships and 95 have graduated
under coach Mueller's regime.Coach Mueller is a current member
of the NFCA and NJCAA Coaches Association.Coach Mueller also
has served as Athletic Director of Phoenix College for the last
12 years.
