· Born: 10/14/62 in Buffalo, New York
· Graduated from Frontier High School in 1981, All-Conference,
All-Section, All-State. Ron was a Running Back and a Strong
Safety
· Attended West Virginia University from 1981-85.
· Drafted in the fourth-round (#104 overall) by the St.
Louis Football Cardinals in 1985.
· Played for the Cardinals Organization (St. Louis and
Phoenix) from 1985 - 1991.
· Played for the Cleveland Browns in 1992 and 1993.
· Played for the St. Louis Rams in 1995.
· Retired from the NFL in 1996.
· Radio Talk Show Host (ESPN Radio 860) 1997-2001 (Full-Time).
· Radio Talk Show Host (ESPN Radio 860) 2001 - Present
(Part-Time).
· President and Founder of The Academy (School for HS
football players).

Presently a color analyst for the Arizona Rattlers and had
spent four years as a host on KMVP 860am both mornings and afternoon
drive. Since retirement from football in 1995, Ron has continued
to be involved with numerous charities. I also host Arizona's
NFL with Ron Wolfley heard in Phoenix on ESPN Radio 860.
"I am wildly excited to take over the program and implement
my own philosophy on how football is played," he said.
"Football is in my blood and I have the most respect and
love for the game and the players that play it.
Ron is married to Stephanie and has four children Ashley, Connor,
Jenna and Cade with hobbies of writing, reading and sketching.

· Honors received: Parade Magazine-All American, All-state,
All Western New York-Team captain-Most Valuable Player
· Attended: West Virginia University from 1986-1990,

· Honors received: 2 Time All-American, All-East, All
ECAC, All-Independent Team-Team Captain-Received Bill Russell
Award for Outstanding Lineman. Played in Fiesta, Gator &
Sun Bowls.
· Consulted and established hand trapping program for
Offensive & Defensive Lineman at West Virginia and Ohio
state football programs.
· Coaching Experience: 3 years West Virginia University
as a Graduate Assistant O/L, TE's & Special Teams Coach
as well as Assistant strength & conditioning coach. Coached
in Sugar & Carquest Bowl Games.
· Personal: Dale has been married for 9 years to his

Thomas played collegiate football at Holy Cross, where he received
cum laude honors in economics and philosophy with a bachelor's
degree in 1956, masters in education from Springfield College
in Massachusetts in 1960. He is married to Elaine with four
grown children; Thomas, Charles, Daniel and Denise.
His coaching experience began as a line coach at Cathedral
High School in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1956. He then moved
on to line coaching duties for Fort Dix New Jersey Interservice
Team in 1957-1959, Holyoke (MA) High School 1959-1961, served
as head coach at Drury High School, North Adams, MA (1961-1963)
Thomas has spent over forty years in coaching, his driving
force. He contributed to the Chief's first winning season in
eight years in 1981, was instrumental in Kansas City being ranked
second in the NFL in rushing the same year. During his stint
at Navy, the Midshipmen appeared in 1978 Holiday Bowl and 1980
Garden State Bowl, helped Navy post a 24-11 record his last
3 seasons there. He also coached the offensive linemen at Columbia
when the Lions' 6-2-1 record in 1971 was the best in 10 years.
Thomas was both an offensive and defensive line coach at William
College.
