Former
Lady Bear Kelly McRee was named the Wilson California Collegiate Athletic
Association's womens basketball Player of the Week for the week ending
January 11. The 5-11 junior wing led Grand Canyon to a pair of home wins
last week, improving the team to 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the Conference.
She scored 24 points in a 60-51 win over Cal State San Bernadino and tallied
34 points in the Lady
Antelopes' win over
Cal Poly Pomona.
