Bins connected on a pair of homeruns in the opener to lead Phoenix College
to a 7-5 victory. In game two, the two squads combined for 13 errors
as the Bears squeeked out a 6-5 win to sweep the ACCAC doubleheader.

The
Bears captured game one 4-1 behind a strong pitching performance by
Brett Armour. Game two was an offensive battle, won 10-7 by Eastern

Sweeps ACCAC Doubleheader from Bears
Yavapai
scored a 4-1 victory in the opener and scored an unearned run in the
10th inning to win game two 6-5. Chris Runyon went 5-for-8 with a pair

Pitches Bears to Split with Arizona Western
Phoenix
fell to Arizona Wetsern 6-4 in the opener and then sent Brett Armour
to the mound to salvage an ACCAC split. Amrour responded by allowing
just two hits and no runs over eight innings to lead the Bears to a

Canyon Out-Offenses Bears 13-11
The
Bears held Grand
Canyon University scoreless through three innings, but then the offense
kicked in for both teams. Phoenix fell despite Donato Giovanatto five
RBI performance.

PC's
baseball Bears defeated Olympic CC 8-7 for their fourth consecutive
victory. The Bears trailed 6-0 before posting the come-from-behind victory,
scoring seven unanswered runs after the sixth inning. Matt Knobbe came
off of the bench to go 2-for-3 with a pair of runs to help pace PC.

McCarthy posted a pair of doubles and four RBI in a 10-5 game one victory,
while McCarthy and Matt Knobbe each had a pair of RBI in the Bears 7-5

Central
Arizona topped the Bears 8-3 and 9-2 to complete a three game sweep

Arizona tallied three runs in each of the first and second innings and

College Scores Double Dip Sweep of Longview (MO)
The
Bears broke a 4-4 tie with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning
to win game one 7-5 as Joey McCarthy hit a pair of triples and Devery
Van de Keere belted a homer and posted
three RBI. PC had an easier time in game two with a 9-3 victory over
Longview. Mike Trojanik allowed just one earned run in route to the
victory, while Joey McCarthy continued his hot bat from game one with

City CC (KS) Scores Pair og One-Run Victories Over Bears
The
opener saw Garden City win a 7-6 see-saw battle as the Bears held the
lead on three occassions but could not hold on. In the nightcap, PC
held an 8-2 advantage entering the eighth inning before Garden City

Takes Rubber Game of 3-Game Series
Chandler-Gilbert's
Phillip Anderson allowed just two hits, one run, walked none and struck
out 13 Bears in an 8-2 victory to win the three-game series 2-1. Boxscore

The
Bears battled back with eight runs in the sixth inning to knot the score
at 9-9 before Chandler-Gilbert plated three runs in each of the eighth
and ninth innings for a 15-9 win. The rubber game of the three-game

inning, but Phoenix responded on Saturday with a doubleheader sweep

homer in a 5-4 victory in game one and the Bears pounded out 13 hits
