Jenna Rodriguez
Jenna
Rodriguez of Yavapai is the ACCAC Division
I Softball Batter of the Week. Rodriguez,
who won the first ACCAC Pitcher of the Week
award in 2008, is the inaugural winner of
the batting honor in 2009. She went 10-for-17
on the week to help the Roughriders to a perfevt
6-0 record. Rodriguez had four homeruns and
14 RBI in the six games.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Audrey Workman
Audrey Workman
is the ACCAC Division I Pitcher of the Week.
Workman went 3-0 for the weekallowing just four
earned runs in 18 innings of work. She beat
South Mountain 10-0, Mesa 9-1, and Glendale
6-4.

Hall of Pima is the ACCAC Softball Division
I Batter of the Week. Hall went 12-for-18
(.667) in a 6-0 week for the Lady Aztecs.
Hall scored nine runs, knocked in
five runs and had five doubles.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Katie Tamayo
Central Arizona's
Katie Tamayo is the ACCAC Softball Division
I Pitcher of the Week. Tamayo made four starts
for the Vaqueras, winning each of them. She
allowed just one earned run in 26 innings of
work while posting 21 strikeouts and just one
walk.

Lacy Goodman is the ACCAC Softball Division
II Batter of the Week. Goodman was 10-for-18
(.556) at the plate for the week. She scored
seven runs, hit two homeruns, and posted
11 RBI.

Western's Ali Mercado and Yavapai's Caitlin
Stangl are ACCAC Co-Batters of the Week.
Mercado
went 11-for-14 on the week, scored 10 runs,
had four RBI and four steals.
Stangl
was 17-for-22, scoring 13 runs with nine RBI
and eight steals.

Lewis are ACCAC Co-Pitchers of the Week.
Workman
went 3-0 on the week, giving up just six hits
in 12 innings. She allowed just one earned run
and struck out 22.
Lewis
also went 3-0, allowing two earned runs and
striking out 20 batters.

Ingram is the ACCAC Division I Softball Batter
of the Week. Ingram helped Pima to a 4-0 record
on the week by going 11-for-14 at the plate
for a .786 batting average. She scored eight
runs and tripled twice in four games.

Western's Samantha Gatson is the ACCAC Division
I Softball Pitcher of the Week. Gatson went
4-1 on the week, allowing seven earned runs
in 30 innings of work. Gatson walked just on
eduring the week while striking out 17.

Karena Brown
of Glendale is the ACCAC Division II Softball
Batter of the Week. Brown went 19-for-33 (.575)
on the week and hit a 3-run homer in the championship
game to help the Gauchos win the Phoenix Tournament.
She also recorded 17 RBI and scored 11 runs
on the week.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Shannon Dukes
Mesa's
Shannon Dukes is the ACCAC Division II Softball
Pitcher of the Week. Dukes went 2-0 on the week
for the Lady Thunderbirds, pitching a 4-hit
shutout over South
Mountain and getting a 7-strikeout win over
St. Louis Merremac.

Linert of Glendale is the ACCAC Division II
Pitcher of the Week. Linert went 2-0 on the
week, including a complete game no-hitter with
16 strikeouts against Pierce. She then struck
out 10 batters in another shutout win over Chandler-Gilbert.

ACCAC Division I Softball Batter of the
Week. Chiquete went 8-for-10 at the plate
on the week with one homer and seven RBI.

I Softball Pitcher of the Week. Tamayo went
3-1 on the week for the Vaqueras, allowing five

Batter of the Week. Corbin batted .625 (5-for-8)
on the week. She had two doubles and four
RBI. Defensively, the catcher threw out all

against her.

of the season as she struck out nine hitters
in a 10-0 win over Central Arizona. On the week,

of work.

Dana Pechloff is the ACCAC Softball Division
2 Batter of the Week. Pechloff was 4-for-5
(.800) on the week, helping the Tbirds sweep
Gateway. She scored three runs, hit a pair
of doubles and had seven RBI in just five
at-bats.

Ivy Campos and Mesa's
Kayla Lawrence have been selected the ACCAC
Softball Division 2 Co-Pitchers of the Week.
Campos
beat Yavapai 3-2, giving up just one earned
run and two hits while striking out six.
Lawrence
allowed just one hit and gave up no earned
runs in a 13-1 victory over GateWay.

Caitlin Stangl of Yavapai is the ACCAC Softball
Division 1 Batter of the Week. Stangl had
11 hits on the week, in helping the Roughriders
to an undefeated 4-0 week. Stangl scored
five runs, had four stolen bases and five
RBI on the week..
PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Workman is the ACCAC Softball Division 1 Pitcher
of the Week. Workman threw a two-hit shutout
in a 12-0 win over Southern Nevada. She then
pitched nine innings in a 2-1 win over Pima.
For the week, Workamn gave up no earned runs
and
struck out 12 batters.

of Phoenix College is the ACCAC Softball
Division 2 Batter of the Week. In a 6-0
week for the #1 Lady Bears, Goodman went
11-for-16. She belted five homeruns to boost
her NJCAA season-leading total to 25. Goodman
also had 12 RBI and seven stolen bases.

Brianna Robles
Brianna
Robles of Phoenix is the ACCAC Softball
Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Robles
earned a pair of wins last week. She gave
up two earned runs and struck out five
in an 11-2 win over Mesa. Robles then
posted seven strikeouts in a 6-2 win over
Glendale.
