Lisa Parks, a 6-0 infielder from top-ranked Pima Community College, is the NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week. Parks led Pima to a 3-1 record last week that included a split with third-ranked Central Arizona Community College (W 11-2, L 4-2) and a sweep of Mesa Community College (W 6-2 & 8-3). In the opening game of the Central Arizona twinbill, Parks was 3-for-3 with three home runs, three runs scored, eight RBI and a sacrifice fly. Over the next two games, in eight plate appearances she was intentionally walked six times.
