Mesa defeated #2 seed Cochise 3-1 to take home the 2005 ACCAC/NJCAA

Phoenix, Pima Advance
to Semifinals of ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Tournament
#3 seed Phoenix and #5 seed Pima earned
2-0 opening round victories to advance to the semifinals of
the 2005 ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Women's Soccer Championships.
Phoenix will travel to #2 seed Cochise on Thursday at 2 pm
while Pima will take on top-seeded Mesa on Thursday at 7 pm.

Head Coach Morgan Lee has been selected the NJCAA Region I/ACCAC
Coach of the Year while Mesa's Amanda Nance has been tabbed

ACCAC Sports 17 Women's
Soccer Players Moving on to 4-Year Programs
Chandler-Gilbert led the way with four student
athletes from the 2004 season to sign National Letters of
Intent to continue their collegiate careers at 4-year institutions.
Overall, the ACCAC will have 17 student-athletes from the
2004 women's soccer season moving on to the next level. (More)

All-Star Team Announced Chandler-Gilbert's
Andrew Guarneri and South Mountain's Jesse Larimer will coach
the NJCAA Region I/ACCAC Women's Soccer All-Star Team against

Mesa Falls to Dixie
to Finish Sixth at National Championships
Dixie State scored a goal in the 29th minute
of the match and that ended the scoring as Mesa could not
get th eequalizer. Mesa's season ends with a sixth place finish
at the 2004 NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Championships
at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix, AZ.

Defeats Navarro, Plays Saturday for 5th Place
#5 Mesa defeated #8 Navarro College 3-1
to advance to the fifth place match at the 2004 NJCAA Division
I Women's Soccer National Championships at the Rose Mofford
Sports Complex in Phoenix, AZ. Mesa will take on #3 Dixie
State at 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
Mesa Falls 3-1 to Schoolcroft
#4 ranked Schoolcroft
College (MI) defeated #5 Mesa 3-1 in the opening round of
the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Championships
at Rose Mofford Sports Complex. Mesa will now face Navarro
at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Mesa Wins District
Title, Earns Second NJCAA Berth Mesa
defeated Cisco Junior College 1-0 on a goal in the opening
eight minutes by Michelle Martinez. Kim Kukla, who posted
eight saves and her 14th shutout of the season, was named
the District Championship MVP. (More)

for NJCAA Region I Crown Mesa,
the tourney's second seed, scored a 2-1 victory over #1 seed
Chandler-Gilbert to capture the 2004 NJCAA Region I Women's

Top Two Seeds Prevail
to Meet for NJCAA Region I Title The
finals of the 2004 ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Tournament are set
as top-seed Chandler-Gilbert and #2 seed Mesa scored semifinal
victories and will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chandler-Gilbert
defeated #4 Cochise 2-0, while Mesa eased by #3 Pima 1-0.
