MYISHA GRAY
Phoenix
Phoenix College's Myisha Gray is
the NJCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the
week ending September 11th. Gray scored each of the
Lady Bears' three goals in a 3-1 victory over Glendale.
She then netted two more goals in a 2-1 non-conference
win over Embry Riddle. Quick math shows that Gray
scored each of Phoenix' five goals on the week and
led the Bears to a pair of victories.

Goalie of the Week
MONIQUE WELLS
Mesa
Mesa's Monique Wells is the NJCAA Women's
Soccer Goalie of the Week for the week ending September
11th. Wells helped the Lady T-Birds to a pair of ACCAC
wins last week. She posted a shutout against South Mountain
as Mesa won 6-0. Wells then recorded 14 saves in a 3-1
victory over Pima. Mesa continues to lead the ACCAC
with a 5-0 record.
