PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(September 5, 2009)
Arizona Western's Reggie Bullock is the WSFL Offensive
Player of the Week. Bullock ran for 200 yards and two touchdowns
as the Matadors defeated Snow 35-17. He had scoring
runs of 16 and 96 yards, while also catchign four passes for
19 yards.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(September 5, 2009)
Zach Holmes of Arizona Western is the WSFL Defensive Player
of the Week. Holmes had 11 tackles and sacked Snow quarterback
Quinn Mecham three times as the Matadors took a 35-17 win
over the Snow Badgers.

Scottsdale's Dylan Jackson is the WSFL Special Teams Player
of the Week. Jackson went 4-for-4 on field goals and was 6-for-7
on extra points.

For the second week in a row, Arizona Western's Reggie
Bullock is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Bullock
helped the Matadors to their second win of the year by running
for 159 yards on 21 carries and scoring four touchdowns.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
(September 12, 2009)
Tony Udley of New Mexico Military and Ryan Comer of Snow are
the WSFL Co-Defensive Players of the Week.
Udley had 12 tackles, broke up a pass, and returned a
fumble 45 yards for a touchdown. He helped NMMI defeat the
Air Force JV squad 27-23.
Comer had 9 tackles, broke up a pass and had an interception
as Snow defeated Georgia Military

Kevin Perez of New Mexico Military is the WSFL Special
Teams Player of the Week. Perez, fighting gusty wind
conditions, hit 2-of-4 field goals and all three of his extra
point attempts.

For the third straight week, Reggie Bullock is the WSFL
Offensive Player of the Week. Bullock ran wild against Mesa,
gaining 223 yards rushing and scoring three touchdowns. He
also caught a 27-yard touchdown. Bullock averaged 8.9 yards
per carry on the week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(September 19, 2009)
Eastern Arizona's Glen Stanley is the WSFL Defensive Player
of the Week. Stanley had eight solo and one assisted tackles
in the GilaMonsters 22-15 win over Glendale. Stanley also
had five tackles for a loss, including three sacks.

Kevin Perez of New Mexico Military is the WSFL Special
Teams Player of the Week. Perez had a perfect evening by hitting
all six of his extra point attempts and connecting on field
goals of 44 and 50 yards.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(September 26, 2009)
Snow College's Quinn Mecham is the WSFL Offensive Player
of the Week. Mecham completed 20-of-27 passes for 340 yards
and six touchdowns in the Badgers 47-14 win over Glendale.
Mecham, who only played three quarters, also ran for 19 yards
on four carries.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(September 26, 2009)
Phoenix College's Alonzo Highsmith is the WSFL Defensive
Player of the Week. Highsmith had 10 solo tackles, including
3.5 sacks, as the Bears defeated Mesa 35-2. Highsmith also
caused a Thunderbird fumble and had another tackle for a loss.

Snow College's Chad Isom is the WSFL Special Teams Player
of the Week. Isom pinned Glendale with four punts inside the
20-yard line. Isom also allowed no return yards on his punts.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
(October 3, 2009)
Phillip Aholt of Scottsdale is the WSFL Offensive Player
of the Week. Aholt threw for 494 yards and a pair of touchdowns
while completing 40-of-59 passes. He also ran 11 times for
32 yards and another touchdown as the Artichokes edged the
Pima Aztecs 35-32.

Arizona's Western's Zach Holmes is the WSFL Defensive
Player of the Week. Holmes led the Matador defense as it shut
down Eastern Arizona 27-2. He had 11 tackles, caused a fumble,
and had three tackles for a loss.

Cameron Webb of Snow College is the WSFL Special Teams
Player of the Week. Webb averaged 11.5 yards on two punt returns
as the Badgers shutout Mesa 44-0.

NMMI's Tyrone Hendrix is the WSFL Offensive Player of
the Week. Hendrix, a wide reciever for the Broncos, caught
four passes for 204 yards and three touchdowns as NMMI defeated
Scottsdale 42-31.

NMMI's Kurt Taufaasau is the WSFL Defensive Player of
the Week. Taufaasau had five tackles, including three for
losses, and two quarterback sacks in the Broncos 42-31 win
over Scottsdale.

Snow's Chad Isom is the WSFL Special Team s Player of
the Week. Isom kept the Pima Aztecs backed up all day as he
averaged 40.7 yards per punt, killing two inside the 20-yard
line.

Scottsdale's Phillip Aholt is the WSFL Offensive Player
of the Week. Aholt carved up the Phoenix Bears' defense for
six touchdown passes and 417 yards. The six touchdown passes
set a school record for touchdowns thrown in a game.

Week. Osborne had 15 tackles, including 10 solo and one for

Player of the Week. Schafer made four special teams tackles
and helped the Artichokes hold down the WSFL's number two
return man Chris Heldore.

Snow's Quinn Mecham is the WSFL Offensive Player of the
Week. Mecham tossed four touchdown passes for 212 yards and
added another 26 yards on the ground as the Badgers beat the
Phoenix Bears 34-14.

Scottsdale's DJ Miller is the WSFL Defensive Player of
the Week. Miller had 10 solo and 12 total tackles, caused
a fumble, broke up three Thunderbird pass attempts, and picked
off three passes in Scottsdale's 36-33 win at home over Mesa.

the Week. Cobb had 12 catches for 246 yards and four touchdowns
in the Artichokes 52-45 loss to the Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters.

Maurice Alexander of Arizona Western is the WSFL Player
of the Week. Alexander had 13 tackles, broke up a pass, had
a sack, caused a fumble, and had three tackles for losses
as the Matadors beat Phoenix 17-7.

Kevin Perez of New Mexico Military Institutue is the WSFL
Special Teams Player of the Week. Perez, who has now won the
honor three times during the 2009 season, was perfect in making
two field goals and one extra point attempt. He also averaged
over 41 yards on three punts.
