Football Defensive Player of the Week. Bowman scored two
defensive touchdowns last week, returning a fumble 30 yards
and returning an interception 35 yards. He also had eight
tackles (seven solo, one assist) and broke up two passes.

Dexter Hill, a 6-1, 195 pound quarterback
from Scottsdale Community College is this week's NJCAA Football
Offensive Player of the Week. In a 30-27 upset of fourth-ranked,
undefeated Pima Community College Hill was 22-of-40 for 302
yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a one-yard touchdown.
