Yavapai Works OT for Title

Yavapai, the tourney's top seed, captured the NJCAA Region I Division I Championship with a 105-97 overtime victory over Arizona Western.

Akeem Price paced Yavapai with 28 points, while Bryson Krueger added 20 points. Also reaching double digits in points for Yavapai were Keith Richardson (18), Mark Konecny (16), and JR Reed (15).

Arizona Western was led by Demario Butler's 28 points, while Robert Hines and Luis Pulido added 16 and 14 points, respectively.
