The NJCAA announced today that the Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 6, 2003, is Mesa Community College's Fred Marshall. The 6-6 guard/forward from Atlanta, Georgia, led Mesa to a 1-1 record that included a 82-78 win over South Mountain. Marshall totaled 50 points (21 against South Mountain and 29 against Yavapai) and 15 rebounds on the week. He was also 19-of-22 from the charity stripe for a .863 percentage.
