| The "Wolf of Fame" (that's our Rudolf!) brings with him the traditions and beliefs of the pagan barbarians of northern Europe. Included among them are: the Yule log, mistletoe, and veneration and adornment of the Sacred Tree. His glowing proboscis reminds us of the Yule log and the precious burning ember that preserves light and warmth through the Long Night of Winter until Spring's arrival. He is a favorite of children wherever his song is sung. |
