| |
The animals of deep pelagic and deep benthic environments are well adapted for living under high pressure in perpetual cold and darkness. They differ from their shallow water relatives in both appearance and behavior. In this lab activity you will study the fishes of the midwaters and deep sea and the invertebrates of the deep sea benthos. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
