(week ending September 6th)



Nicole Acosta

Paradise Valley

Nicole Acosta of Paradise Valley is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Acosta had three shots but didn't score in a 3-2 win over Chandler-Gilbert. She then scored three goals and assisted on another in a 5-0 win over Cochise.

Adrianna Phininzy
Pima

Pima's Adrianna Phininzy is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week. Phininzy stopped all three shots that she faced in a 1-0 shutout win
over Gateway. Phininzy followed that performance by stopping four of the five shots fired on her in a 3-1 win over Mesa.

Emily Shuta

Pima

Pima's Emily Shuta is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Shuta truly defined the award by scoring a goal in
each of the Lady Aztecs' games. She led her team to three 2-1 ACCAC victories on the week.

Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley's Alyssa Flores is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Flores took four shots on goal and scored once in a 2-0 win over Phoenix. Flores then peppered Scottsdale with seven shots and
scored two goals and assistsed on another in a 5-1 win over the Artichokes.

Mimi Salazar
Paradise Valley

Mimi Salazar of Paradise Valley is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week. Salazar stopped all three
shots she faced as the Lady Pumas beat Phoenix 2-0.

Julia Anglin

Scottsdale

Julia Anglin of Scottsdale is the ACCAC Player of the Week. Anglin was the glue to the Scottsdale defense as the Artichokes' shutout Gateway 3-0 and came away with a 1-1 tie against ACCAC leader Chandler-Gilbert.

Andie Brookhauser
Scottsdale

Scottsdale's Andie Brookhauser is the ACCAC Keeper of the Week. Brookhauser stopped three shots in a 3-0 shutout of Gateway. She then stopped 13 of 14 shots in a 1-1 tie against ACCAC leader Chandler-Gilbert.

Linda Rijlaarsdam

Chandler-Gilbert

Linda Rijlaarsdam of Chandler-Gilbert is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Rijlaarsdam had an assist in a 2-1 win over Paradise Valley. She then exploded for a three-goal and two-assist game in a 6-0 shutout of Cochise.

Kelsie McKanna
Glendale

Kelsie McKanna of Glendale is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week. McKanna had 14 saves in the Lady Gaucho's 1-0 win over Scottsdale. She followed that performance with 12 saves on 13 shots as Glendale defeated South Mountain 2-1.

Amy Eyden

Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley's Amy Eyden is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Eyden had a gaol and an assist in the Pumas' 4-0 win over GateWay. After being held scoreless in a 1-0 win over Pima, Eyden scored her second goal of the week in a 5-1 win over Mesa.

Mimi Salazar
Paradise Valley

Mimi Salazar of Paradise Valley is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week. Salazar didn’t allow a goal
on the week for the Lady Pumas. She stopped GateWay for 45 minutes and shut out Pima for 90 minutes. She then held Mesa scoreless for 45 minutes in the third win of the week for Paradise Valley.

Yadira Garcia

Cochise

Cochise's Yadira Garcia is the ACCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Garcia assisted on the game-tying goal before scoring the game winner in overtime against GateWay. In Cochise's win over Glendale, Garcia had an assist off of a free kick.
