NMMI'S Ovie Esalomi is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Esalomi rushed for 211 yards on only six carries and scored two touchdowns as the Broncos beat Lea County 60-0.

Alex Matthews
Mesa

Mesa's Alex Matthews is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Matthews set a Mesa record by knocking down five passes as a defensive lineman. He also was in on seven tackles to help the T-birds beat Arizona Western 28-6.

New Mexico Military's Kevin Perez is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Perez went 7-for-9 on extra points, hit a 52-yard field goal, and recoved a blocked PAT for a two point conversion in the Broncos 60-0 win.

Snow's Soni Sotele and Scottsdale's Dwight Pete have been selected as the WSFL's Offensive Co-Players of the Week.

Sotele, who helped the #2 ranked Badgers remain undefeated, ran for 122 yards on 14 carries and scored two touchdowns in a 52-0 victory over Pima.

Pete ran for 124 yards and also scored a pair of TDs as the Artichokes downed the Matadors 48-28.

Michael Stevenson

Scottsdale's Michael Stevenson is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Stevenson had 10 solo and six assisted tackles for the Artichokes. He also broke up two passes, caused a fumble and had an interception.

Pat Riley
Eastern Arizona

Eastern Arizona's Pat Riley is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Riley averaged over 48 yards a punt, had a punt downed at the one yard line, and ran over 30 yards on a fake punt for a first down. Riley helped #10 ranked Eastern to an upset victory over #8 Glendale.

Phoenix College

Phoenix College's Timmy House is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. House ran for 206 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Bears' 41-38 loss to #7 ranked Eastern Arizona.

Glendale's Myron Beck is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Beck helped the Gauchos to a 30-28 win over Scottsdale by intercepting three Artichoke passes and returning two for touchdowns. He also had five solo and four assisted tackles on the night.

Treg Jeffery of Phoenix College is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Jeffery was 5-for-5 on extra points for the Bears and also booted a 57-yard field goal.

Glendale's Zac Hulce is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Hulce ran for 260 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-13 win over Pima. Hulce also caught a pass for 18 yards.

Eastern Arizona

Saia Taufa of Phoenix College and Eastern Arizona's Rico Brooks are the WSFL Co-Defensive Players of the Week.

Taufa had 13 tackles, broke up two passes and had two tackles for losses in the Bears 30-13 win over Arizona Western.

Brooks also had 13 tackles and posted four tackles for a loss in helping the Gila Monsters remain unbeaten with a 28-7 win over Scottsdale.

Mesa's James Klingensmith is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Klingensmith helped keep the NM Military Broncos backed up all game by averaging over 44 yards a punt and putting one inside the 20.

Scottsdale's Kevrick Brown is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Brown ran for 222 yards and three touchdowns in the Artichoke's 44-21 win over the Pima Aztecs in Tucson, Arizona.

Eastern Arizona's Rico Brooks and Snow's Shane Hunter are the WSFL Co-Defensive Players of the Week.

Brooks paced a Gila Monster defense that held Arizona Western to just seven points in a big 42-7 victory for Eastern. He posted nine tackles, four tackles for a loss, broke up a pass, and intercepted a pass.

Hunter, who helped the Badgers defeat Mesa 48-17, had eight tackles, two sacks, broke up two passes, and caused a fumble.

Snow's Jeff Wright is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Wright averaged 43 yards a punt and only had one returned as Snow defeated
Mesa 48-17.

Snow's Soni Sotele is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Sotele had 32 carries for 211 yards and two touchdowns. He also had five receptions for 70 yards in the top-ranked Badgers' 33-13 win over Phoenix.

Eastern Arizona's Dan Foster is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Foster had 14 solo and 10 assisted tackles, including four tackles for loss. His defensive effort helped the Gila Monsters to a 23-13 win over New Mexico Military.

Mesa's Dominic Gamboa is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Gamboa drilled two long field goals of 48 and 50 yards and went 3-for-3 on extra points as the T-birds beat the Scottsdale Artichokes 27-14.

Snow College's Houston Erbstroesser is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Erbstroesser was 19-for-28 for 236 yards and four touchdowns as the Badgers defeated Glendale 45-14.

Mesa's JaMichael Hall is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Hall had eight tackles and two interceptions. He returned one of the interceptions for a touchdown and also scored a safety as the Thunderbirds defeated Phoenix College 45-6.

NMMI's Troy Seivwright-Adams is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Seivwright-Adams had a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown, his second return for a TD on the year. The Broncos defeated Pima 51-27.

Eastern Arizona's Darrius Jackson is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Jackson rushed for 179 yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Gila Monsters ran for 579 yards in a 45-13 win over Pima.

Arizona Western's Jeromy Jones is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Jones had 11 tackles, broke up a pair of passes, and picked off a pass. He returned the interception 54 yards to set up a score as the Matadors downed Glendale 19-18.

Regan Buck of Snow College is the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Buck averaged over 27 yards on six punt returns and had three returns of at least 48 yards as the Badgers beat Scottsdale 22-9.

Snow's Jon Eastman is the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week. Eastman threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns as the Badgers won the battle of unbeatens with a 55-21 over Eastern Arizona.

Snow's Andrew Rich is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Rich helped the Badgers remain unbeaten by recording 12 solo tackles and assisting on six others. He also intercepted a pass to help the #1 ranked Badgers defeat #4 Eastern Arizona 55-21.
